Owner/Lead Mechanic/Founder of The Hub Cyclery
Andy founded The Hub over a decade ago while still a Geography undergraduate student at Texas State University. Over the years he has been fortunate enough to follow his passion of helping people with all things cycling. With a background in marine mechanics, Andy brings a fresh perspective to service and repair. Specializing in wheel building, Andy has developed an efficient, reliable service department. Recently, Andy completed his MBA at Texas State University.
Ben attended UBI and is a certified Olympic Bicycle Mechanic. With many years of mechanic experience both in the United States and Europe, there isn’t much that he hasn’t seen or worked on. He is our go-to at the shop for repairing damaged steel frames. Benjamin also fabricates custom bicycle frames (Benjamin Cycles), which you can view at his website.
Kevin is a professional racer for the Elevate KHS Pro Cycling Team and an experienced mechanic. His racing background combined with his cycling industry knowledge makes Kevin a great resource to have in the shop.
Casey is a full-time student at Texas State University. He started cycling in high school with his local NICA team and has been hooked on racing ever since. Recently, his focus has been cyclocross, where he is currently the U23 and Cat 2 State Champion in Texas. Casey loves candy, especially Sour Patch Kids and Dr. Pepper.
